TEDS 6W Portable Bluetooth Speaker – Grey

TEDS portable speaker for corporate gifts

TEDS is a grey portable Bluetooth speaker with a clean design and 6W of combined audio output. It brings wireless listening, wired audio, FM radio and hands-free functionality together in one compact product. For companies selecting employee gifts or client presents, it offers an everyday technology item with useful listening features rather than a purely decorative accessory.

The speaker belongs to our Headphones and Speakers range. Its two internal speakers are designed to provide clearer, more immersive sound. Supplied accessories and a black gift box complete the presentation, giving buyers a defined package when planning a corporate gift selection.

ABS construction and a fabric grille

The body is made from ABS, with fabric used for the speaker grille. A rubberised finish adds a distinct surface texture, while the grey colour keeps the overall appearance understated. These material and finish details are part of the product itself, not additional packaging or optional accessories.

A handle provides a convenient way to carry the speaker or hang it. This makes it practical to move between listening locations, such as a desk and a shelf at home. Non-slip silicone feet support the unit when it is placed on a surface, complementing the handle with a feature intended for stationary use.

Wireless transmission and audio connections

Bluetooth 4.2 provides wireless audio transmission. This is the specified Bluetooth version for TEDS, allowing buyers to distinguish it from other speakers when comparing products. Wireless playback is one of several listening options, rather than the only way to use the unit.

A 3.5 mm input offers a wired audio connection, and a matching audio cable is included. This provides an alternative when a wired connection is preferred. The separate microSD input adds another option for playback, broadening the speaker's connection choices beyond Bluetooth and the audio cable.

The supplier lists the power input as microUSB-C (5W). The supplied charging cable is described separately as USB-A to microUSB. Both descriptions are retained here as specified; the input designation should not be taken as confirmation that a USB-C cable is included.

FM radio and hands-free use

FM radio provides a listening option alongside playback from connected audio sources. It adds variety to the speaker's functions without requiring users to choose a different speaker for radio listening. Hands-free functionality is also included, making TEDS suitable for calls as well as audio playback.

The microphone has a specified sensitivity of −38 ±3 dBV/Pa. This is a microphone specification and is separate from the sensitivity rating of the speakers. Keeping the two figures distinct gives purchasing teams a clearer technical reference when reviewing the product's calling and listening features.

Two speakers with 6W total output

Each of the two internal speakers delivers 3W, producing a combined sound output of 6W. The stated speaker diameter is Ø40 mm. These details describe the audio components within the unit, while the overall product dimensions are listed separately below.

The frequency range is 100 Hz–20 kHz. The signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 80 dB, and speaker sensitivity is rated at 80 ±3 dB. Impedance is specified as 4 Ω. Together, these figures provide a technical basis for comparing TEDS with other products in our Technologies selection, without relying solely on appearance or output power.

Battery capacity and operating time

The battery capacity is 1200 mAh. Approximate operating time is four hours, making battery duration a useful consideration for recipients who want to listen away from a charging connection. The quoted duration is an estimate, not a guaranteed playback time for every use.

Approximate charging time is five hours. This figure is separate from the operating-time estimate: one describes replenishing the battery, while the other describes how long the speaker can run. Both are relevant when choosing a portable audio gift intended for regular use.

Dimensions, accessories and gift presentation

The speaker measures 160 × 120 × 50 mm. These are the dimensions of the product, not its gift box. Buyers can use them to assess the space the unit will occupy on a desk or shelf and how it will fit within a planned gift assortment.

The package includes a USB-A to microUSB cable and a 3.5 mm audio cable. TEDS is supplied in a black gift box measuring 180 × 180 × 66 mm. With its portable format, supplied cables and choice of listening functions, it is a practical option for corporate programmes centred on useful everyday gifts.
